The Institute for Biomedical Sciences’ interdisciplinary academic programs prepare students to succeed in the 21st century biomedical workforce and give them a competitive advantage. These unique programs integrate instruction in biomedical science, business and law and foster desired soft skills, equipping students to be the well-rounded candidates sought in the biomedical industry.
Devin McCoy landed an internship at UCB Inc., a global biopharmaceutical company, during her studies in the Master of Interdisciplinary Studies (M.I.S.) in Biomedical Enterprise program. The recent graduate plans to enroll in law school to become a pharmaceutical product lawyer and one day the chief executive of a pharmaceutical company.
