Complete the Intent to Enroll form so we know you’re coming. No payment is necessary to complete your Intent to Enroll form. You must view your acceptance letter in the Status Update tab before you’ll have access to complete the Intent to Enroll form.
1. Set up Your CampusID
You will use your CampusID to log in to just about everything.
Your CampusID is different from your Panther number. Your Panther number is the nine-digit number located on your acceptance letter. It will take about 48–72 hours before you can use your new CampusID to access the student systems.
2. Set up PantherMail
Get your Georgia State student email address (@student.gsu.edu). You’ll use this email account for all communications with the university.
If you have been awarded a Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) appointment, you also have a Georgia State employee email address (@gsu.edu). Please be sure to check both inboxes frequently.
3. Log in to Panther Access to Web Services (PAWS)
PAWS is your online portal to student accounts, housing, orientation and more.
Log in to PAWS using your CampusID
While you're there, check out the New Students tab. View your student record under the Enrollment tab. Click the Campus Resources tab for housing information.
Get started with your FAFSA application
(Georgia State's FAFSA Code is 001574)
This application will determine if you’re eligible for all federal and state aid programs. You’re encouraged to submit a FAFSA, even if you think you’re not eligible for federal aid programs, because this application will review your eligibility for the HOPE Scholarship and other financial aid opportunities. You must have a PIN to complete this application.
Note: Your application for financial aid can also verify your citizenship.
Once your FAFSA has been reviewed and processed by Student Financial Services, you may review your financial aid package in PAWS under the Financial Aid tab. You must accept/deny aid as needed. Check your remaining balance due and pay your bill by the deadline.
